Hello! My name is Steph Beilman and I am so excited to begin teaching at St. Thomas the Apostle School this year! My background is diverse, holding several different types of educational positions throughout my career. I have worked mostly for non-profit organizations, including being the Director of Health and Wellness at the YMCA and the Director of Community Engagement at a senior living community.
Most recently, I served as a teacher for the Children’s Psychiatric Unit at Baystate Hospital. In this position, I taught history, science, math, and ELA to children with mental health needs.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Public Health) from the University of Massachusetts and a Master’s Degree in Public Health with a concentration in Education from the University of Tennessee.
I have always believed that the most important thing I can do with my life is to help others. I strive to be a role model to my students, and will meet them every morning with a smile. I will always put my students’ learning, growth, safety, and holistic wellness first! I can’t wait to meet my class and their parents, and I look forward to having a wonderful school year!
