Welcome to fourth grade!  My name is Kathy Neffinger and I have been teaching at St. Thomas school since 2006.  I have a Bachelors degree from Northeastern University and have taken several courses towards my Masters in Education at Elms College.

I am passionate about teaching, and find true joy in providing the building blocks to help my students achieve success in anything they set out to do.  My classroom is a warm, loving environment where each student is valued and respected.  My teaching style involves hands-on-learning and different varieties of instruction, where each student can thrive while acquiring personal responsibility, and a life-long love for learning.  This is why I am proud to say I am a member of the St. Thomas team.

I am also a Battle of the Books advisor and enjoy coaching students in this wonderful reading program.
