Hi!  I’m Mrs. Cecilia Rennix, and I moved to Massachusetts from Virginia in June, 2018.  I come from Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Newport News, where I taught for 12 years. I have lived many places, including Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Japan, having moved every 2-3 years as a child.  I earned my BA English from Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH, and my M.A.E. from William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA.

Students in 6thand 7th grade are balancing many activities and responsibilities. Aside from teaching English, Literature and Religion, it is my goal to help students learn to manage time well and develop a strong work ethic while focusing on growing in their love of God and one another.  I begin my tenure at St. Thomas with a grateful heart, looking forward to partnering with parents and guardians to nurture the growth of all of my students. It is truly an honor to work towards the healthy, happy, holistic development of each student’s mind and spirit. I feel very blessed to have landed at St. Thomas the Apostle School, where there is such a positive, loving climate and everyone works hard!
